 Cottages
Quaint one and three-bedroom housekeeping cottages, with a spectacular view of Peninsula Lake, are available for weekly rentals during peak season, and a minimum of two night's stay on off-season bookings. A security deposit will be taken on all cottage rentals, and guest are responsible for all damages incurred during their stay.
3-bedroom "Woodsman" cottage, holds seven people max. Fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, BBQ, fireplace, sunroom, high-speed wireless internet access: $1500.00 weekly during peak season, $300.00 a night.
1-bedroom "Lakeview" cottage w/ 2 pullout couches, holds six people max. Fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, BBQ, fireplace, whirlpool tub, high-speed internet access: $1200.00 weekly during peak season, $250.00 a night.
Rates are per cottage, not per person. No overcrowding permitted. Children are considered "guests". Day visitors: $20/day per person. No visitors or guests allowed without management permission. We reserve the right to terminate a booking as required.
Things to Do
 There is something for everyone at Portage Inn. Take advantage of our canoes and kayak; they are provided to you free of charge with your stay. If the water's not your thing, you can still enjoy a vigorous workout on our tennis court or a leisurely bike ride down the winding road.
For those golf enthusiasts try one of several prestigious golf courses just minutes away. Riding stables also nearby.
Fishing, swimming or simply sun worshipping. Hiking, cycling and canoeing at nearby Algonquin Provincial Park. Santa's Village in Bracebridge is a great place to take the kids. Visit Muskoka Heritage Place and ride the refurbished Portage Flyer, or enjoy one of a kind creations from our local artisans. The Algonquin Theater in the heart of downtown Huntsville is home to a variety of plays, concerts and shows year-round.
 Enjoy Muskoka's winter wonderland with snowmobile trails right at our front door. Snowshoeing and snowtubing on the premises. Downhill ski at nearby Hidden Valley. Try your hand at dog sledding or enjoy the brisk air on a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
How to Get to Us
Take Hwy 11 to Hwy 60, follow east to South Portage Rd. Turn right to North Portage Inn.
Check-in / Cancellation Policy
Check In is after 4:00pm. Early arrival will incure a charge of 25% of daily rate. Check out is 11:00am. Late departure incurs a charge of 35% of daily rate.
We regret we cannot accept pets but there is an excellent pet resort if you need to bring your pet along. (Happy Tails 705-789-9181 www.happytails.on.ca)
No smoking allowed inside the main lodge and cottages.
All cancellations are subject to a $50 administration fee. A four-week notice for cancellation prior to arrival is required. All cancellations of a reservation made within four weeks of arrival will result in the loss of the deposit regardless of circumstance. A one night's stay deposit will be required for B&B bookings per room, and 50% of total booking price will be required for cottage rentals. All cottage guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay. Please inquire for more details.
